The Lake Osoyoos Sailing Club often hosts a regatta each year in the fall.

At this time of the year, the weather and winds are pleasant and the power boat traffic on the lake is minimal. 

The Fall Regatta is often combined with either the Canadian National Sea Spray Championships or the North American Sea Spray Championships.
